Dear Friends,
On behalf of Thai Paediatric Endocrinologists, I have a great
pleasure of inviting you to attend The 4th Biennial Scientific
Meeting Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society 2006, which has
been scheduled in Pattaya, a seaside town roughly 120 km. off
Bangkok.
As a host, we will definitely make an all-out attempt that this
event is a pleasant and memorable one. A unique and stimulating
scientific programme will be prepared for all paediatric
endocrinologists, scientists and health personnel who will come from
all over the world. Side by side, a social event agenda will be
designed in such a way that the participants are offered
opportunities to experience many fascinating facets of the Thai
cultural heritage.
We look forward to welcoming you to The 4th Biennial Scientific
Meeting Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society 2006
Yours sincerely,
Professor Kitti Angsusingha, M.D.
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to extend a warm invitation to all health
professionals involved in caring for children with diabetes and
endocrine disorders to attend
APPES 2006 which will be held in Pattaya, Thailand,
November 1st to 4th 2006. This will be the fourth biennial APPES
Scientific meeting, previous meetings have been held in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia; Cairns, Australia and Kobe, Japan.
APPES 2006 is a special occasion; in part because it
is being held in a country recognized for its warm hospitality and
delicious food and also because it celebrates 10 years since
senior members in the Asia/Pacific countries conceived the idea of
a regional paediatric endocrine society.
The meeting will be hosted by the Thailand Paediatric Endocrine
Society under the chairmanship of Professor Kitti Angsusingha and
convenor/secretary, Dr Suttipong Wacharasindhu. APPES 2006 will
build on the strength of our previous meetings including outstanding
science and clinical medicine, the opportunity for presentation of
original research and the healthy interaction between colleagues
from the broad and diverse region represented by APPES. The theme of
the meeting, “Paediatric Endocrinology: Looking into the Future”
will be reflected in the programme developed under the chairmanship of
Professor Wayne Cutfield. An interactive educational meeting for
endocrine trainees will be held from October 29-31, 2006.
Pattaya is a beautiful city on the gulf of Thailand and I am sure
that our hosts will ensure that the social activities are a
highlight of the meeting.
APPES 2006 will be the major international paediatric endocrinology
and diabetes meeting in the region in 2006. I look forward to
seeing you in Pattaya.
