   It is indeed a great pleasure and my personal privilege to cordially to cordially you all both at home and broad to join us on this coming important event, the 35th World Congress of the International College of Surgeons, at Pattaya Exhibition and Conference Hall (PEACH) and Royal Cliff Beach  Resort, Pattaya during 25-29 October 2006.

   The Organizing Committee lead by Prof. Vathanophas and Prof. Wora-Urai highly selected the "PEACH" and Royal Cliff Beach Resorts as the Venue and the "Surgical  Challenges" as the Theme specially for this pround occasion hosted by the ICS Thailand Section.

   In spite of rapid an great advances in term of knowledge, skills and technology there are still several remaining problems challenging us in Surgery and in  its related specialties. The Scientific Committee is working very hard putting together programme to justify this Theme

   Renowned international and local speakers are invited to meet  the "Challenges". VDO presentations of the new surgical technique from well known experts are the  highlights of the occasion for young colleagues. Free papers and poster presentations will give excellent  opportunities for discussion and opinion exchange.

   Social functions and traditional Thai hospitalities are awating for you all at  Pattaya,  the most popular holiday resort  on sea of the East coast. Please come and be part of success of the Congress.
