The venue of the meeting is Pattaya, the famous beach of Thailand. The hotel "The Royal Cliff Beach Resort Hotel", offers the panoramic views from guest rooms and meeting places. The organizing committee has worked real hard to make this meeting a memorable one. A well-all-rounded brand new scientific program has been organized which will certainly be instructional, educational and enjoyable. Many renowned orthopaedists from AAOS, ASEAN region and outside are invited to take part in the special lectures, symposia and instructional courses. In addition to oral presentation, the posters and video presentations will be the other highlights of the meeting. It is my great pleasure and honor to inform you that preparations for to the 2nd ASEAN-AAOS Instructional Course and the Combined Meeting of the 24th Asean Orthopaedic Association Annual Meeting and the 26th Annual Meeting of Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand (RCOST) for The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majestiy the Queen's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2004, to be held in Pattaya from October 13-17, 2004 are going on enthusiastically. It is also our pride and highly honor that Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha will preside over the Openning Ceremony. The Congress common theme is "Update in Degenerative Bone and Joint Diseases". Both regional and overseas orthopaedists are expected to participate.
