Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I have great pleasure in inviting you all to the 27th Annual Meeting of The Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand, which will be held during October 19-23, 2005 in Pattaya, “The Pearl of the East”, the famous beach resort of Thailand. The hotel “The Royal Cliff Beach Resort Hotel”, offers the panoramic views from guest rooms and meeting places. The theme of the meeting “Minimally Invasive Surgery in Orthopaedics” is quite appropriate for us to absorb and exchange our knowledge. The organizing committee has worked real hard to make this meeting a memorable one. The scientific committee has set the topics concerning the trauma, spine, sports medicine and including the hip and knee which we are all familiar with. A well-all-rounded brand new scientific program has been organized which will certainly be instructional, educational and enjoyable. Many renowned orthopaedists from our ASEAN region and outside are invited to take part in the special lectures, symposia and instructional courses. In addition to oral presentation, the posters and video presentations will be the other highlights of the meeting. We are certain that you will find the congress as a source of excellent educational opportunity, sharing the knowledge during the formal presentation and the informal discussion outside the meeting rooms. For the social events, we have arranged the special programs for all the participants and their spouses or companions to take part.
