AIRPORT INFORMATION

Bangkok International Airport is located 25 kms. from the city center. There are two International Arrival Terminals, Numbers 1 and 2. The domestic terminal is located about 1 km. from the international Terminals, connected by the walk way.

TRANSPORTATION

The airport taxi and taxi meter are highly recommended for delegates transferring to the venue. The shuttle service would be provided for delegates from the hotel venue to shopping center.

        

The organizer cannot assume liability for any change in the program due to external or unforeseen circumstances.

EXHIBITION

An exhibition of pharmaceutical products and medical equipments will be held throughout the Conference. The exhibition will open to all participants. For space booking and further details, please contact the Financial Committee.

CLIMATE

Thailand is a tropical zone. The average temperature in Bangkok is 27-32 °C. In October and November, the climate is generally pleasant.

CREDIT CARDS AND TRAVELER'S CHEQUES

Most of major hotels, restaurants, department store and supermarkets accept the major credit card: Visa, Master and AMEX. Somewhere accept Thai local credit cards, Diner Club International, Discovery and JCB. Traveler's cheques can be used much more convenient and available exchange at all commercial banks and money exchangers.

        

Thai currency is "Baht". The coins are 0.25,0.50, 1, 5, and 10. The notes are 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000. Nowadays US. Exchange rate is around 40 Baht/1 USD. The currency exchange is available in banks (office hours: 9.30 am. - 3.30 pm.), hotels and arrival lounge of Bangkok International Airport, foreign exchange services at tourist areas.

ELECTRICITY All Thai electric current normally uses 220 volt AC, 50 cycle around the country. Cooking

The tour includes a visit to Nakorn Pathom, site of the highest Chedi in Thailand called Phra Pathom Chedi, which is the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia. Afterwards, you will attend the Thai cultural shows in the Thai Village, giving you a short introduction into the many customs of Thai life. A Thai set lunch will be served on the island before we head back to the ‘Cityof Angel’ Bangkok and to your hotel.

FULL DAY AYUTHAYA (onward by coach & return by cruise) (Price USD 57)

08.00 - 17.00 hrs. A full day tour, bringing you to visit the former capital of Thailand, Ayuthaya, situated approximately 60 kilometers north of Bangkok. The tour starts at the Summer Palace of the late King Rama V), commonly known as ‘Bang-Pa-In’, which is another touch of beauty. You continue to the magnificent ruins of early splendor that Ayuthaya is famous for allover the world. We will pass or visit all the most impressive ruins of this World Heritage Site for taking sufficient pictures.

We will return to Bangkok by cruising down the Chao Phya River on a comfortable, air-conditioned cruise ship, while enjoying a sumptuous buffet lunch on board, Upon arrival at the disembarkation point in Bangkok in the late afternoon, we transfer you back to your hotel.

 

Note : Alternattively the outward trip may be made by Cruise up and returning by coach. Kindly be aware that proper attire is required to enter the Summer Palace compound. Tour staff will be pleased to advise you accordingly.
